Jersey Shore Center is a skilled nursing facility now offering ACCELerate Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. ACCELerate is designed to get you back home as quickly as possible after a hospital stay. The Center also offers long-term and respite care. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. Our staff is dedicated to serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from illness or injury. Dimitry Ruchaevsky
AdministratorDimitry has been in healthcare for about 15 years. He takes a team approach in developing his staff and understands the importance of empowering his staff. Dimitry has been a Monmouth County native for most of his life and has 3 kids; twin girls and a son. He is very active in his kids life and enjoys coaching his son's soccer team. Dimitry provides an open door policy to not only his staff, but residents and family members as well.
Dr. Rajneesh Mehta
Medical DirectorI have been so proud of this center and to call myself the Medical Director of Jersey Shore Center. The morale of the staff has been at its best. Patient care and safety has been their prime target. We have implemented and maintained strict infection control protocols, from weekly testing, ample PPE for our staff, stringent Infection Control Practices, and screening of all staff and providers and outside vendors prior to entering the center. We have been blessed with amazing guidance from the central support system through Genesis Corporate.
Kim Hollywood, RN, CSW
Director of NursingKim has been the Center Nurse Executive of Jersey Shore Center for over 5 years. Kim is a graduate of Georgian Court College, Lakewood NJ, and she also attended Brookdale Community College, Lincroft NJ, Kim has over 18 years experience in long-term care, including 11 years as a DON/CNE and 7 seven years as Director of Social Services.
Jocelyn Ruiz
Admissions DirectorJocelyn graduated from Monmouth University with a Masters degree in Social Work. Prior to her role as Admissions Director, she has practiced social work for over 7 years, including 2 1/2 years at Jersey Shore Center. Jocelyn understands the importance of making families and patients feel welcome and comfortable during their stay, and provides excellent customer service.
Anthony Castronovo
Director of RehabilitationAnthony earned his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2011 from Kean University. He has 7 years of clinical experience as he primarily works with the geriatric population in various settings such acute rehab, skilled nursing facilities, home care, and outpatient. He is a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Occupational Therapy Association. Anthony has led his team in achieving positive clinical outcomes covering a wide variety of clinical diagnoses since his position as the Director of Rehabilitation at Jersey Shore Center. He is committed to providing the best quality rehab services so that our patients and residents can continue to have the best quality of life.
Get back on my feet
In the past six years when I have been in need of a little "TLC" after either surgery, a fall or just illness, Jersey Shore Center's physical and occupational therapy has helped me get back on my feet. I have ventured out into quite a few other rehab sites in Monmouth County and New York and none of them compares. The "chow" is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and thanks to the activities department there is something fun always happening. You have to visit Jersey Shore Center if you are ready to work after hospitalization or if you need just to get back on your feet."

Dedication from leadership
I’m writing to praise the dedication of the entire Jersey Shore Care Center team. Every week since the pandemic started and visits were curtailed, family members have been invited to participate in a Coronavirus virtual update call. Key leadership staff have participated. I’ve been encouraged to ask questions. The Director, Dimitry Ruchaevsky has been transparent and informative. During today’s call, I wrote down something he said that resonates with me. I then asked his permission to post this quote: 'The Center is doing everything in its power to keep your loved ones safe. To work with this population you have to have compassion. Right now, we’re their extended family. We didn’t ask for COVID but we’re dealing with it the best we can. I say this from the bottom of my heart. As I always say... you can call anyone on our team here. You don’t have to wait for this weekly call.' This open communication has been a lifeline. I used to come from NYC to visit my loved one at least twice a month. I know my parent is being cared for... Thank you.

Informative, understanding and accommodating
Jersey Shore Center has done a wonderful job of protecting their residents by keeping them COVID safe. Although I am not permitted to touch my mother, I have been able to visit her with limited and distanced interaction. In addition, I have received daily general email updates about the COVID status of residents and staff. There have been Zoom communications as well. The staff has been informative, understanding and as accommodating as they could possibly be during this crazy COVID year and I am thankful my mother has been safely cared for.

I am Gianna's daughter Vicki Leanza. My mom has been residing there for many years. I wish she could have stayed with me however her heart condition and mental instability that went along with her cardiac issues found it impossible for me to care for my mom at home while I also have to work full time.
I have to say my mom being almost 95 , I do not have to worry knowing that she is being well taken care of. If there are any questions I need to ask the staff, nurses, aides etc, they are always there to help and listen. My mom's roommate Joanie has been with her from the beginning and we love her as if she is a member of our family. No matter what your income level is no one is made to feel less than. I cannot say enough about this nursing home and rehab facility. Thank you so much.
