AdministratorCheryl has been with Genesis for more than 10 years, transitioning from Berkshire Center to Laurel Center in 2018.
Dr. Jennifer Legar
Medical DirectorDr. Legar is a 2009 Graduate of Penn State College of Medicine and comes to Laurel Center with many years experience in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. She serves as Medical Director for 2 Genesis Nursing Facilities. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. She is very active in both Laurel Center Skilled Nursing Center and Personal Care Home Communities with a focus on quality of life and maintaining the residents well-being. In light of the potential harm the pandemic poses for nursing home residents in particular, Dr. Legar is vigilant in ensuring the safety and health of Genesis Healthcare’s patients. Admissions & Marketing DirectorMy name is Kelsey and I am the Admissions and Marketing Director for Laurel Center in Hamburg, PA. I have a bachelor's degree in business management and an associate's degree is business administration. I am also a mother of two beautiful girls and in my free time, I like to go to the gym, hang out with friends and my children.
