Thank you!
I was admitted to Quakertown Center for post-hospital rehabilitation in the middle of December 2023. I have throat cancer and needed skilled nursing and rehabilitation due to Mucositis (a side effect of throat cancer), a feeding tube dysfunction, dehydration, and malnutrition. I am happy to share that after approximately two weeks of therapy, I was able to return home before the new year!
- James S.
So understanding and kind
Thank you to all the nurses, aids, doctors, and staff who tended to my husband’s care. I wish I could thank each one of you who gave him extra attention. He loved you. Not only did you help him, you were so understanding and kind to all of us. You should be proud of your facility too, it is very well-maintained!

Returned home much stronger
Our client was so delighted to return home and, thanks to Genesis, returned home much stronger than she had been. We wanted to share with you a very nice story about her. Our caregivers report she has a great appetite, is walking well and is interacting with her son. We continue with shifts 7a-12p and 4p-7p. During one of our visits, the client joined in the favorite part of their visit- a 3 way catch! Her strength was much improved and she was able to throw the ball about 8 feet to her son! Thanks for taking such great care of our client. Her caregivers all look forward to seeing her!

Thanks to everyone for returning me to my life
I came to Quakertown Center in Sept 2015 after a lengthy hospital stay. When I first arrived, I was unable to do anything for myself, which meant a lot of extra work for the staff. They were very helpful and pleasant. It took several months before I started to show improvement. Thanks to staff and an excellence physical therapy department, I gradually started showing improvement. I told therapy at one point to give up because I was never going to walk. Fortunately they did not give up or let me give up either. Therefore I can now walk with a walker and will be able to get around home without problem. I would also like to send compliments to the nursing staff for their fine care and compassion and to the kitchen for their good service and all the good food. Thanks to everyone for returning me to my life.
- Linda R.

Working tirelessly to help patients
The PT/OT group id a profession that I was so blessed to have help me in the time in my life when I was out of control. Both programs work tirelessly to help patients attain goals. Through exercises and groups I have reached goals that certainly were beyond my expectations. What a team!

Rehabilitation gives 110%
What a team Jessie put together. Like a piece of all the parts working together. Therapy arrives on time with a smile. Tough on some but they all care. 110% behind every patient. All staff work together in Amin, nursing and aides.
-J. Albright
Prepared to return home
When I first came to Genesis, I was unable to stand without the help of two people. Sonia the PT worker, worked with me until I was able to stand on my own with a walker. I was unable to walk at all until Sonia worked with me and gave me treatments on my leg. She also taught me to go up steps. Liz the OT helped me do many useful thing that pertain to my activities of daily living. Every day she would go with me to help me get my arms stronger and to help me use the grabber to pick things up. She made sure I was able to do things in the kitchen that when I go home I will be able to prepare my meals safely.
-S. Wojciechowski

I would recommend this facility to anyone!
I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at Quakertown Center for the excellent quality care my mother received during her stay. She was in rehabilitation for four weeks after a very long hospital stay. I never imagined she would have come as far as she did due to her illness. She is currently at home and with the help and support of family and friends she is thriving. I would like to mention that the nursing staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make her comfortable. John, CNA, was especially caring and always happy to help her. I was especially impressed with the rehabilitation she received. I would recommend this facility to anyone!
- Donna M. (daughter of patient).

A source of help and comfort

Job well done
“A job well done” When I came to Quakertown Center I was flat on my back. Under the direction of Rehab Services, Occupational and Physical Therapy I was able to recover. The plans, the goals and the progress brought me to where I am today. I can do things for myself and I am standing and walking. The atmosphere was calm and yet enjoyable. They are a Five Star Team and I recommend their services to those who need it.
- D.P.

Great Team
Just need to let you know what a great team you have in therapy. Chelsea and Sonya go the extra mile for their patients. Being in isolation tor 14 days made me realize how important contact helps. This duo really sets the pace for all the patients. I can’t say enough good things about the girls. I look forward to working with both of them. Team effort all the way!

Positive Outcome for one of our residents. Great Job Raul!
On August 23-2021, I had a hip replacement operation and was told that it would take at least 3 months for me to even try to do any kind of physical activity.
"Woe is me" I thought it's gonna take 6 to 9 months to get any improvement on my legs (let alone walk) I was totally convinced of this. I was transferred to a rehab facility (anonymous) where I was treated and felt like a total invalid. I was bed ridden and even a simple task like getting to the "john" was an adventurous undertaking for it took 3 people to accomplish it. (one to hold the chair and 2 to get me in it.) I did indeed felt helpless.
On September 2, I got a heaven sent blessing, I got transferred to the Quakertown Center. At the Center. I was introduced to 2 wonderful and beautiful physical therapists Becca and Sonia. Though in quarantine they developed a plan for my recovery. Today-less than three months, I am not only moving I am walking with (a rollator) I can dress and undress myself, which I could not do before. I have gained almost full independence due to these gifted therapists and their support staff at Quakertown Center. I have a new lease on life because the care I received here and will be eternally grateful to QTC.
I would recommend QTC to anyone seeking short-term recovery or even residency. You will be treated with respect and dignity by a caring and knowledgeable staff. Like me, they will feel right at home.
- Raul Rodriguez, 11/22/21
Very Thankful!
I was very pleased with the professionalism, patience, kindness and compassion that was afforded me by the the PT and OT staff here at Quakertown Center. They provided a valuable and necessary service to those of us who need rehab from our injuries. I am very thankful to all who assisted me in meeting my goal of returning home as soon as possible. Thank you!
