Dan Hirschfeld

Dan Hirschfeld is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for International Operations and Genesis Rehabilitation Services. Dan joined Genesis in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Rehab Services. Dan has an extensive background in a variety of healthcare settings, ranging from acquisitions and business development roles to management of an ancillary services business.

Prior to joining Genesis, Dan held President and CEO/COO positions with several privately held and publicly held companies with operations throughout the United States. He is a national presenter and panelist for the healthcare industry and for national investment conferences, and has been an industry representative to various state and national government bodies. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for The National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL), the Board of Trustees for Harcum College, the Board of Directors for Argentum (previously Assisted Living Federation of America, ALFA) and Commissioner for the Senior Living Certification Commission.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in accounting from Duke University, and both Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Finance degrees from Loyola College of Maryland.
