Grand Islander Center is located on Aquidneck Island, a suburban, coastal area of Rhode Island. The Island encompasses three towns: Portsmouth, Middletown and the historic city of Newport. Aquidneck Island is a juxtaposition of rolling pasture land and seaside beauty pocketed by urban-like sprawl. We provide Alzheimer's/dementia care in a secure Homestead Unit; LongTerm, Palliative, Restorative and Pain Management Care; and intensive nursing and rehabilitative care for patients recovering from surgery or illness in our Transitional Care Unit. Grand Islander Center is the recipient of the American Health Care Association's Bronze, Silver and Gold Quality Awards.

I would definitely return!
"The Grand Islander really knows how to treat Patients! The Therapist, Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants were all wonderful, especially Physical Therapist, Guion Williams! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give CNA, Jennie Crawford a 10! She deserves so much praise! I really enjoyed all the attention she gave me, she even did my hair! I have no complaints, in fact, I did not meet one person I did not like! I would definitely return to the Grand Islander if needed!
