Ansted Center is located on Route 60 near the New River Gorge and Hawks Nest State Park. Residents and family enjoy the cool mountain breeze and the sounds of nature from our open front porch. Enter our facility and see and hear the laughs and smiles of residents, family and staff. The Center has a rehabilitation gym, a salon, a large dining and activity room and a large back yard with a gazebo used for anything from quiet reflection to facility cookouts. Ansted offers Skilled Nursing with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, a Dietitian, a Social Worker and Activity Therapy staff to meet the diverse needs of our patients and residents. Ansted provides intensive Rehabilitation to patients needing ShortStay treatment and plan to return home. Additionally, Ansted provides a safe and happy home, with 24-hour care to those who are no longer able to live in their own home.

Joshua Crist
AdministratorJoshua Crist is locally born and raised from Ansted, West Virginia, located in Fayette County. He graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. He began his career with us in 2012 as the Admissions Director at Hilltop Center. After that, he was employed as a traveling Administrator in several Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities along the East Coast. He has also served as Director of Guest Services at Hilltop Center where he worked very closely with the residents, family members and facility staff. All of his experiences have set him up to succeed as an Administrator. Josh has now joined our Ansted Center team as our Administrator to lead our team with the utmost professionalism and care to ensure positive outcomes for our residents, their family members and loved ones. Josh takes great pride and enjoys using his roots with being a West Virginia native to help his residents continue to have a great quality of life, just as if they were in their own home. In Josh’s spare time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, watching sports and is well known as an avid WVU fan. Josh also enjoys the many amazing resources that the great state of West Virginia has to offer. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
Dr. Michael Antolini
Medical DirectorDr. Antolini has been with Genesis Healthcare since 2016 and has been serving as the Medical Director at Ansted Center since February 2016. Dr. Antolini attended school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2012 with his Doctorate degree. He was born and raised in WV and has made it his priority to use his Doctorate degree to care for his fellow West Virginia's as best he can. He has experience with multiple long-term care facilities and clinics and uses his experience and skills to ensure he and his team care for our residence with excellence. In his free time, Dr. Antolini enjoys farming with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
Deanna Craiger
Director or RehabilitationDeanna is a graduate of Shawnee State University with a degree in Occupational Therapy and has worked for Genesis since 1998. Deanna has worked in several buildings across this state, settling in at Ansted in 2009. While spending her career in the skilled nursing setting, Deanna has developed a clear understanding of the special needs of our patients and is dedicated to meeting the family and patient’s goal for improved therapy outcomes. Deanna has two children and two grandchildren with whom she enjoys spending time with. In her spare time she loves kayaking and gardening in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.

Remarkable experience
I have had a remarkable experience here at Ansted Center. I'm so glad I did not miss the chance to be here. The food was amazing and the staff are phenomenal. The therapists and nurses helped me so much with my arms. The area around the center is beautiful and I loved looking out the window and watching the birds, squirrels, and trees. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
