Alyssa Jolin
Director of NursingMy journey into nursing began during my time working as an LNA. I truly loved the work I was doing, but I found myself wanting to do more—to deepen my knowledge and expand my ability to help others. I’ve always had a passion for learning, and nursing felt like the perfect path forward.
Over the past 13 years as a nurse, I’ve been fortunate to care for many patients and residents, each leaving a lasting impression. While it’s hard to pick just one moment, I carry countless meaningful memories from my experiences.
What I love most about nursing is the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life. Working with the elderly population, in particular, is where I’ve found my true passion. It’s both a privilege and a joy to support them through their journey.

Sarah Hilliard
Admissions DirectorSarah's professional journey began in the restaurant industry, where she started as a server and worked her way up to become a district manager overseeing three restaurants. While the setting may have changed, the values remained the same: exceptional service, dedication, and compassion. She carried these qualities with her into the healthcare field, where she has continuously applied them to elevate the standard of care for our residents and offer peace of mind to their families.
Sarah hopes to facilitate a smooth, supportive, and personalized transition for your loved ones to our facility. Her commitment to care and connection ensures that you and your loved ones are in the best of hands.

Alexis Lucas Stilt
Director of RehabilitationAlexis always had a passion for helping others stay independent and strong, she had a soft spot for the elderly population after caring for her grandparents and seeing the struggles they had ahead of them. She made her way to college in MA majoring in Occupational Therapy and Early Childhood Education. She started her career in 2003 as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in MA at Norwood Hospital Mental Health , after 1 year she moved to NH and started with Genesis in Bedford, NH at the Ridgewood Center for 2 years. As you know there are many avenues in the field for Occupational therapy, She then decided to change paths and take a position at Concord Hospital In-patient. She remained there for 19 years moving throughout the hospital caring for a large population of patients and expanding her learning path. After leaving Concord, she moved into home care, this decision helped her learn another avenue in Occupational Therapy and work toward a manager's position. She has now moved up and accepted the Director of Rehab position at The Laconia Center. She is excited to take on this new position and assist in improving the Department and continuing to do what she loves.

Now I can walk independently
They must know I love root beer; I get some every meal! I am so glad that I have improved. When I came here I couldn't walk, I thought I was going to die. I even had a priest come and visit. But now I can walk independently. I owe it to Genesis; all the aides, nurses, and therapy helping me along. My legs were weak and I was nervous, just to stand was frightening. But they reassured me that I would be able to stand. All in all, I'm very happy that I have come as far as I have in the short time I've been here. I prayed to the Lord to help me, and here I am! I am very pleased and hope I keep it up.
