Sistersville Center is a 68-bed skilled nursing facility offering post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term and respite care. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. We also offer a memory support unit for residents with Alzheimer's or dementia. Our staff is dedicated to serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from illness or injury. Sistersville Center is an AHCA Bronze Quality Award Winner, We Honor Veterans community partner and is VA contracted!

Dr. Zaveen Kureishy
Medical DirectorAfter graduating in 1988 from Dow Medical College, Dr. Zaveen Kureishy completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center. He maintains a private practice in Glen Dale and is also affiliated with local-area hospitals. Dr. Kureishy is committed to supporting our Center and residents, and he states, "Our Genesis Team is dedicated to providing quality care. Our primary focus is the health and safety of our residents!"
Heather Lanham
Director of Marketing and AdmissionsHeather started working in healthcare in 1998. She has held various roles throughout that time and started as an admissions assistant in 2020. She is looking to further her education and return to school for healthcare management.
Jessica Kunz
Director of RehabilitationJessica is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and she has been working in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient orthopedic settings since 2012. Jessica has been with Genesis Rehab as a therapist since 2013 and is pursuing a degree in healthcare management.
OutComes
One of Sistersville Center's most rewarding experiences was to meet and care for a beautiful woman who had suffered a devastating stroke. She came to us unable to walk, talk, eat, or respond to her family or the staff. The doctors were not hopeful about her recovery. The center's staff, rehab professionals and her family never gave up hope and spent each day providing care and comfort. After 6 months of never giving up, the staff tearfully watched her walk out of the facility to celebrate her 70th birthday and 50th wedding anniversary. She regained her speech, her ability to walk, care for herself and was so thankful to be able to return to her home and her loving family.
