Genesis HealthCare Announces Earnings Release Date

Genesis HealthCare Corporation will release operating results for the first quarter of fiscal 2007 after the close of business on Thursday, February 8, 2007.
On January 16, 2007, Genesis HealthCare announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by a joint venture between affiliates of Formation Capital, LLC and JER Partners. In light of the pending acquisition, Genesis HealthCare will not host an earnings conference call or webcast, and intends to discontinue Fiscal 2007 earnings guidance.
