Caring for myself again

I was a patient here at Genesis Hammonds Lane Center. Once I arrived to the facility I was unable to stand and walk. Now I can walk with a walker up to 300 feet! I can bathe, and dress myself and go up and down steps.

Rehab never gave up on me

I came to Hammonds Lane with a total hip replacement, brand new hip and was not able to walk. The staff here was very professional , even though I was not a pleasant person at times. Rehab never gave up on me! I rate them up to "KERNAN" Patient now is walking with a SPC and able to negotiate steps.

When I came to Hammonds Lane I was not able to do ANYTHING! The therapists were nice and now I can do everything they tell me to do and now I can do it.

I progressed well

When I came to Hammonds Lane Center with an extensive Cardiac history. I progressed from bed bound, non ambulatory status to independent bathing and dressing and amubulating with a rolling walker.

Doing well

I really looked forward to Rehab and the visitation with the rehab staff especially since I can't see my family. Overall, I am doing well and I am now able to work 80ft using a rolling walker.

Very good physical therapy

My stay here at Hammonds Lane was pretty good. The only problem was a little delay in response time to the call bell. All in all this is a good place and the physical therapy staff were very good to me. My aids were wonderful to me. I really have few complaints, this is generally a good place ! I was kept clean and well attended to.

Good job!

OT & PT Therapy was great in getting me ready to go home! I did everything they told me to do in preparation for home. Also the food to give me strength was also good! I was able to walk when I was ready for discharge good job!
