Sanatoga Center is the premier provider of Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, located in the rapidly expanding communities of Pottstown, Sanatoga and Limerick. We are conveniently located right off the Sanatoga exit of 422, directly across from the Philadelphia Premium Outlets. Sanatoga Center is now offering ACCELerate Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation which is designed to get you back home as quickly as possible after a hospital stay. We also offer long-term care services. Our staff is specially trained and dedicated to the individual success of each patient.

Dr. Michael Chyu
Medical DirectorDr. Chyu has been practicing medicine since 2012. He has been the Medical Director at Sanatoga Center since February 2021. Dr. Chyu completed his undergraduate education at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. His residency in Internal Medicine, as well as his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, were completed at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset, NY. He worked as a Palliative Medicine physician at Reading Hospital from 2012-2015, then at Lehigh Valley Health Network from 2015-2019. In October, 2019, Dr. Chyu joined Rosenfeld Van Wirt, PC and since has been providing medical services to post-acute and long-term care residents at a number of facilities. When Dr. Chyu is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Nurse PractitionerI am coming up on 1 year working as the CRNP for the Rosenfeld-VanWirt Practice alongside Dr. Chyu and Dr. Legar in Sanatoga Center providing care to these exceptional residents. What a year it's been! The healthcare industry, in particular LTC facilities, faced and continues to surmount unprecedented challenges and changes in the age of COVID 19 pandemic. Despite these hurdles, the resilience, creativity, heart and soul of each staff member at Sanatoga Center shone through. I work alongside staff members (nurses, aides, receptionists, therapists and countless others) providing the quality of care I hope my own family would receive. The dedication to high quality, patient centered care at Sanatoga Center ensures each resident receives the best care possible with a personalized interdisciplinary plan for each resident with their wishes being at the forefront of treatment.
Natalie Spencer
Director of NursingNatalie started her career in healthcare over 20 years ago and has over 18 years’ experience in Long Term Care. Over the course of those 18 years Natalie has worked in every position and every shift the nursing department has to offer; from CNA, to LPN, RN, Nurse Manager, ADON, Infection Preventionist and now DON. Natalie is eager to utilize her experience in collaboration with the experience of Sanatoga’s interdisciplinary team to ensure that the residents of Sanatoga will continue to receive quality care
