Dr. Karthik Ramakrishnan
Medical DirectorDr. Karthik Ramakrishnan came highly recommended to Westwood Center in February 2020. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with 20 years of experience. In addition to having his own practice (Infinity Medical Management) in Bluefield Virginia he is also the founder of PeachTree Inpatient Consulting, a hospitalist group of physicians that has been serving five hospitals since 2009. He was joined in providing care to the residents of Westwood Center by J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C in August of 2020. Lindsey is an exemplary Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background of experience in multiple areas of nursing including but not limited to working in Home Health, Intensive Care, Med Surge and outpatient clinical setting. With both of their vast experience with inpatient and outpatient medicine, together, Dr Ramakrishnan and J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C will deliver superior care to our residents at Westwood.
J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C
Nurse PractitionerLindsey is an exemplary Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background of experience in multiple areas of nursing including but not limited to working in Home Health, Intensive Care, Med Surge and outpatient clinical setting. With both of their vast experience with inpatient and outpatient medicine, together, Dr Ramakrishnan and J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C will deliver superior care to our residents at Westwood.
Tamara Miller, RN, BSN
Director of NursingTamara joined Westwood Center in 2020 as our Director of Nursing. Tami brings with her over 24 years of nursing experience including CCU, ICU, ER, Post-Op recovery, Hospice, and eight years in long term care, including four years of director of nursing experience. She is a graduate from Mountain State University with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and was an LPN prior to that. Tami is a native of Oak Hill WV and resides there with her husband of 29 years. She has two children and one beautiful granddaughter. Tami's personal core values and beliefs as an individual are kindness, honesty, persistence, lifelong learning, security, family, and success in achieving her goals. She uses those values and beliefs to make her own personal decisions and to live her everyday life. Tami believes that the core of nursing is caring, knowledge, and integrity. Tami's mission is to be a competent and lifelong learning nurse while providing empathetic and compassionate care; maintaining honesty and integrity; and being respectful of all cultures and individual choices.
Wonderful place and great therapy
I have been here 3 times now and never regret coming. It is a wonderful place to come and get therapy. Everyone is always so nice and kind and I never have to wait very long for someone to come and help me. I would recommend this place to everyone.
