COVID-19 Second Booster Dose
The CDC recently released a recommendation for a second COVID-19 booster dose for certain persons. Specifically, a second mRNA booster dose could benefit people ages 50 years and older, as they are at increased risk for severe COVID-19. People ages 50 years and older may choose to receive a second booster dose, if it has been at least 4 months after the first booster. We recommend that appropriate residents receive their second booster dose. The COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna) are available. Please let your physician or nurse know right away if you or your loved one would like to receive the second booster.

Aaron joined the team at Valley Center in April of 2022. Prior to Valley Center, Aaron has served as the Senior Executive Director at Teays Valley Center in Hurricane, WV; Willows Center in Parkersburg, WV; Miletree Center in Spencer, WV; and Parkersburg Center in Parkersburg, WV. Aaron began his career with Genesis in January of 2010 as an Assistant Administrator at Heritage Center in Huntington, WV. He was given the distinguished honor of being selected to participate in the Genesis Leadership Development Program in August of 2010 and now serves as a Certified Preceptor for the program. Prior to joining Genesis, Aaron earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration focused on healthcare management from Marshall University.
Dr. John NevilleMedical Director
Dr. Neville is WV Native and still holds to his roots practicing medicine in Charleston, WV and the surrounding areas. Dr. Neville is a ’93 Graduate from Marshall University, School of Medicine. Following med school Dr. Neville completed his residency with Charleston Area Medical Center from 1993-1996. He practices primary care with Dunbar Medical associates and became a Medical Director for Genesis Health Care in July 2013.
Danielle Raines, FNPNurse Practitioner
Danielle attended WVU Institute of Technology in Montgomery, WV where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2003. Danielle worked as a RN for 15 years at CAMC General; while she completed her, Masters of Science degree from Marshall University in 2017. Danielle is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed in West Virginia. She joined our Genesis Physician Services family over 3 years ago.
Alexus PauleyDirector of Marketing and Admissions
Alexus graduated from University of Charleston in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She began her healthcare career in 2015 as a Medical Assistant and has continued to pursue her career in the health care profession. She loves the ability to care for others and see the smile on residents faces everyday. When she isn't adding new admissions to our growing family here at the center she enjoys hanging out with her family and playing with her kids.
