"I had many other rehabilitations to choose from, but St. Joseph's Center was always my first choice.  There is a feeling of community and family here.  The facility is clean and the staff are very friendly. The chapel is inviting and I enjoyed the beautiful grounds outside.  I am going home tomorrow, but I will miss the wonderful rehabilitation and nursing care."

"There are some exceptional people that work here. The care I am receiving from the nurses and aids are very good.   Although this was not my first choice nursing facility because of location, I and very happy I came."

“I attended zoom calls with my mom and the staff zoom call for updates.  It helps me to feel not so far away from mom and I appreciate the updates very much. My Mom looks forward to our calls and outside visits and tells the staff that all the time. “

“I appreciate the zoom calls and just being able to see my grandmother on a weekly bases talking to her and finding out what is going. I love how this was set up to remind my love one (grandmother) that she is not alone and we are still with her through all of this pandemic.”

“Every time I see or talk to my grandmother she would tell me by name of the nurses who she loves and have been taking care of her. The best thing is that although she has the early stages of dementia, she remembers names of nurses and always makes sure she lets us know who takes care of her constantly checking on her. I love how we were able to bring her things once the outdoor visits opened up as well. Amanda, Catherine and all other staff have been very helpful during this difficult time.”

“I live in California, so these phone calls have meant the world to me.   Morgan in Recreation sets up a family zoom call every Sunday.   She is never late.  She knows all the players, and truly, the calls would not go as well without her.   Noel is wonderful too.”

“All of the people I have interacted with at St. Joe's have been caring and compassionate.  Marian does a great job on the now weekly phone calls.   Linda is marvelous.   Melissa is great at arranging the weekly zoom calls. Although I have not been able to attend any of the outdoor visits, Amanda is marvelous at making them happen.   All the family members have been very impressed, including the grandson, who said it was "awesome."

In summary, there are not enough good words to say about St. Joseph's.   They have been on the front lines, and they truly are "essential" to the care and emotional health of the residents.   I have been SO impressed with the caliber of the staff.   If anyone is considering St. Joseph's for themselves or their loved family member, rest assured.   Their care is of the utmost importance to the people at St. Joe's. “
